Description
Product Description The TeSys K LP1K is a ultra-compact, space-saving 3-pole miniature magnetic contactor. It features a built-in low-consumption 24V DC control coil designed to interface directly with low-voltage electronic circuits. Despite its tiny footprint, it is highly durable and capable of managing millions of mechanical switching cycles under harsh industrial conditions. Key Features Miniature Footprint: Only 45mm wide, allowing it to fit into highly restricted enclosures and crowded control boxes. 3-Pole (3NO) Main Contacts: Safely switches three live phases simultaneously to drive three-phase machinery. 24V DC Coil with Built-In Suppressor: The low-consumption DC electromagnet can be triggered by low-power automation outputs without drawing high power or creating inductive feedback spikes. Built-In Auxiliary Contact: Comes standard with either 1NO (Normally Open) or 1NC (Normally Closed) integrated signaling terminals for logic controls. Flexible Mounting: Can be clipped straight onto standard 35mm wide DIN rails or screwed flat onto a backplate panel. Compatible Mechanisms and Components The TeSys K series forms a dedicated miniature ecosystem with specialized components designed to match its scaled-down proportions: 1. In-Panel Component Compatibility TeSys K LR2K Thermal Overload Relays: Natively compatible with the miniature clip-on LR2K series thermal overload relays. Snapping an LR2K relay directly onto the bottom of this mini contactor turns it into a compact, fully protected motor starter. LA1K Auxiliary Contact Blocks: Expandable via top-mounted mini adder blocks (such as the LA1KN11 or LA1KN22) to add up to 4 more low-power signal lines. TeSys K Reversing Interlocks: Can be paired side-by-side with a mechanical interlock kit (such as the LA9K block) to connect two TeSys K contactors together for motor reversing operations. 2. Machinery and Mechanical Loads It Controls Depending on the exact model version (typically rated between 6A to 12A for inductive AC-3 loads), this miniature contactor is perfectly sized to control: Fractional Horsepower Motors: Remotely cycles small 3-phase industrial motors up to 4 kW / 5.5 HP (at 400V), such as small exhaust fans, conveyor sorting belts, and small motorized mixers. Automated Valving Systems: Controls high-frequency solenoids, motorized pneumatic valves, and hydraulic directional controls in assembly plants. Industrial PLC Outputs: Functions perfectly as an interposing power relay between a digital Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) or building automation system and localized mechanical components. Packaging and Textile Machines: Frequently embedded inside dense control compartments of small textile loops, labeling machines, and automated packaging lines.
