Description

The Universal 3-Pin Washing Machine Water Level Sensor (commonly cross-referenced with the Q88NF, DSC-6B, or Q602VL series) is an electronic pressure switch designed to regulate and monitor the exact volume of water inside a fully automatic top-loading washing machine. This sensor works via air displacement. As water fills the wash tub, it pushes air up through a small rubber pressure tube attached to the base of the switch. The internal diaphragm shifts, causing an induction coil to alter its output frequency. Once the frequency matches the target water level selected on the control panel, the main PCB halts the water inlet valve and safely kicks off the wash cycle.
