The AHUJA HBM-60CC is an ultra-lightweight, high-performance over-the-head condenser microphone engineered for hands-free public address and vocal applications. Ideal for lectures, sports coaching, stage presentations, aerobics instructors, and tour guides, it provides crisp speech intelligibility and consistent sound pickup without the physical restrictions of a handheld mic. Designed with an ergonomic, flexible steel band that sits securely behind the head, the HBM-60CC ensures stable placement even during high-movement activities. It features a sensitive cardioid electret condenser capsule that focuses directly on the speaker’s voice while suppressing surrounding room echo and ambient feedback. Key Mechanical & Technical Features Ergonomic Behind-the-Neck Band: A minimalistic, tensioned steel wire headband fits snugly and comfortably over the ears, staying out of the way of hairstyles or hats. Flexible Gooseneck Boom: The microphone capsule is mounted on an adjustable mechanical arm, allowing users to position the mic element precisely at the corner of the mouth to eliminate heavy breathing pops (plosives). High-Sensitivity Condenser Capsule: Operates on low voltage (1.5V) to deliver a higher output level (5.6mV/Pa) compared to bulkier dynamic headmics. Integrated Clothing Clip: Features a tiny mechanical cable clip to route the wire down the back or side, preventing tugs and cable noise. Compatible Mechanisms & Audio Equipment To function correctly, the HBM-60CC relies on external line power (bias voltage) or specific adapters. It is compatible with the following hardware systems: Wireless Beltpack Transmitters: Plugs directly into standard VHF or UHF wireless bodypack transmitters equipped with a matching 3.5mm microphone jack input. Portable Waistband Amplifiers: Fully compatible with mini portable PA systems (frequently used by tour guides and teachers) that feature powered 3.5mm mic inputs. Amplifiers & Mixing Consoles: Can be connected to traditional pro-audio mixers or commercial PA amplifiers using a 3.5mm-to-XLR or 3.5mm-to-6.3mm ( 4 1 “) adapter block. Note: Because it is a condenser element, it requires a 1.5V DC supply; it cannot run on standard passive mic inputs without a power-supplying adapter. Smartphones, Laptops, & PCs: Compatible for digital recording, vlogging, and video calling when paired with a standard TRRS splitter or an external USB audio interface mechanism to convert the audio routing correctly.
