Description
Product Description: 2J01289B Evaporator Fan Motor The 2J01289B is an industrial-standard AC shaded-pole asynchronous fan motor housed inside a rigid skeleton C-frame chassis. It features an exposed, rear-weighted single copper field coil wrapped tightly around a laminated iron core stack (11.6mm thickness). As shown in your measurements guide, this motor relies on a standardized, dual-threaded mounting post bracket geometry with a 60mm screw-hole center separation. It features an elongated, smooth output drive shaft (37mm length, ∅4mm) tailored to hold standard multi-blade plastic air-paddles. It functions inside the sub-zero evaporator plenum of frost-free appliances, constantly drawing warm ambient air over the refrigeration coils and circulating frozen air throughout the cabinet. Key Technical Features Chassis Architecture: C-Frame Shaded Pole Induction Motor. Electrical Parameters: Built for standard regional 220V–240V AC, 50/60Hz electrical mains. Energy Draw: Low-energy operation consuming roughly 8W to 11W (depending on peak structural load). Rotation Direction: Counter-Clockwise (CCW) rotation configuration facing the output drive shaft. Compatible Mechanisms & Appliances The 2J01289B is highly favored by technicians because its standardized mounting footprint makes it an exceptional cross-brand replacement component: 1. LG, Elba, & Goldstar No-Frost Refrigerators (Primary OEM Match) Compatible Mechanisms: Mid-to-large capacity conventional double-door frost-free refrigerators manufactured by LG, Elba, and legacy Goldstar platforms. Application: Drops securely into the molded plastic fan clip panels situated directly behind the rear back-wall shroud of the freezer box. 2. Sharp, Hitachi, & Whirlpool Frost-Free Units Compatible Mechanisms: Select mechanical air-loop refrigerators belonging to Whirlpool, Sharp, and Hitachi. Application: Serves as a perfect mechanical retrofit. If the factory bracket is slightly different, technicians can simply detach the rear mounting clamp screws, extract the core stator block, and swap it into the appliance’s native housing frame. 3. High-Voltage Mechanical Defrost Circuits Compatible Components: 4-pin mechanical timing clocks (such as the Sankyo TMDE/TMDF series) and inline bimetal safety limiters. Application: In standard 220V parallel wiring layouts, this fan motor is switched onto the active high-voltage loop concurrently with the compressor relay. When the defrost clock snaps into cooling mode, it fuels both the compressor and this fan motor at the same time. (Note: It is completely incompatible with modern 12V DC computer-controlled inverter fan headers). 4. Cross-Compatible Part Architectures In the appliance service trade, the 2J01289B shares identical sizing and performance metrics with several other part codes: Interchangeable Profiles: RF039A, YZF-B1, MH07BCF, and generic 220V 4mm shaft universal C-frame freezer motors.
