As the temperature at the tip of the capillary line drops, the fluid contracts, releasing pressure on an internal mechanical bellows to open its high-voltage electrical contacts and pause cooling. It features a standard 2-pin electrical spade terminal configuration, making it one of the easiest universal thermostats to wire. It is calibrated to handle standard 125V/250V AC electrical loops, with a Full Load Amperage (FLA) rating of 8A / 5A to handle the heavy inductive strain of a compressor starting up.
