The MX-5500 EOS is a classic, lightweight, handheld mechanical pricing gun designed for retail stores, supermarkets, warehouses, and small businesses. Engineered for high-speed, repetitive stamping, it allows users to quickly label inventory with prices, dates, batch codes, or SKU numbers. Featuring a smooth trigger-actuated mechanism, the gun prints up to 8 crisp characters on a single line. Its physical housing is molded from durable, impact-resistant plastics to withstand accidental drops, while the internal metal springs provide snappy tactile feedback for seamless, jam-free operation. Key Mechanical Features 8-Digit Adjustable Dial System: Features a side-mounted mechanical selector rod. Pulling and twisting the rod aligns the internal character bands to select numbers, currency symbols (e.g., $, €, ¥, ₨), and formatting characters (e.g., periods, dashes). Hand-Squeeze Actuation: A completely analog system requiring no batteries. Squeezing the handle triggers a synchronized mechanical cycle: the ink roller coats the stamp, the backing paper advances, and the stamp presses firmly onto the sticker. Pre-Loaded Tension Spring Roller: A small spring-loaded core holds the label roll securely in place, feeding labels consistently to prevent alignment drifting. Compatible Consumables & Mechanisms To keep the MX-5500 EOS functioning correctly, it must be paired with specific mechanical components and consumable sizes: Single-Line Price Labels (21mm×12mm): Compatible exclusively with standard single-row pricing stickers measuring exactly 21mm wide by 12mm high. It supports both straight-cut rectangles and wavy/wavy-edged label shapes, provided they feature the standard central feed holes. 20mm Ink Rollers: Compatible with universal 20mm replaceable ink cartridge rollers. The ink system is easily swappable via a click-open front gate panel without requiring tools. Perforated Paper Feed System: The internal advancing gears rely on the precise spacing of pre-perforated holes along the center of the label backing paper to pull and peel the stickers accurately. Non-perforated or standard tape rolls will not feed through this machine.
