Description
The Next 12-inch Plastic Exhaust Fan is a practical, lightweight ventilation solution engineered to maintain indoor air quality by continuously expelling stale air, heat, cooking smoke, and excess moisture. Built entirely from durable, high-impact polypropylene plastic, it is highly resistant to grease, oils, and high humidity, making it an excellent choice for demanding residential spaces like kitchens, pantries, and laundry rooms. The unit is fitted with a 5-blade aerodynamic plastic impeller designed to move a high volume of air efficiently while managing noise levels. It features integrated, gravity-assisted automatic louvers (shutters) at the back. These shutters open instantly under the pressure of outward airflow when the motor turns on and automatically drop flat when turned off, preventing outdoor drafts, rain, insects, and dust from entering the room. Key Specifications: Sweep Size: 300 mm (12 inches) Chassis Material: Corrosion-proof, high-impact engineered plastic Color: Standard Appliance White / Off-White Shutter System: Automatic back-draft prevention flaps Ideal for: Kitchen ventilation, medium-to-large bathrooms, and commercial food-prep stalls. Compatible Installation Mechanisms This ventilation unit relies on specific structural and electrical parameters to operate safely and effectively: 1. Mounting and Structural Cutouts Wall & Window Dimensions: Because it has a 12-inch blade profile, the physical square housing requires a mounting cutout size of approximately 350mm x 350mm (roughly 14″ x 14″) to seat the inner frame. Surface Compatibility: The lightweight plastic chassis allows it to be installed directly into wooden panel framing, concrete/brick wall apertures, or mounted onto a strong glass window pane using a standardized commercial glass-cut mounting gasket setup. 2. Electrical Support & Mechanisms Power Parameters: Built to run on standard domestic single-phase alternating current (220V – 240V at 50Hz). Energy Consumption: Operates on an energy-efficient shaded-pole or capacitor-run motor mechanism drawing roughly 40W to 55W. Switching Compatibility: Fully compatible with standard wall toggle switches, pull-cord canopy switches, or integrated electronic timers. Note: It should not be paired with traditional step-type ceiling fan speed regulators, as the varying resistance can cause the dedicated induction motor to overheat. Maintenance Guideline: For optimal air delivery performance, the front plastic grille should be unclipped periodically and wiped down to clear collected dust and kitchen grease film.
