Featuring a bright, 6-digit, 7-segment red LED display, it provides clear visibility even in darkly lit industrial control panels. It is highly versatile, capable of monitoring 1-phase 2-wire, 2-phase 3-wire, and 3-phase 4-wire electrical systems, making it a staple for factory sub-metering and energy management. Key Features Display: 6-digit LED display with a resolution of 0.1 kWh or 1 kWh (depending on configuration). Measurement: True RMS active energy (kWh) measurement with an Accuracy Class 1. Compatible Mechanisms & Equipment The Selec EM306A is a monitoring and metering device. It is compatible with any machine or electrical system where tracking power consumption, calculating energy efficiency, or sub-billing is required. It is designed to interface with the following mechanisms and setups: 1. Current Transformers (CTs) Compatible Mechanisms: 5A or 1A secondary Current Transformers. Why it’s needed: The EM306A does not measure high industrial currents directly. It relies on CTs clamped around the main power lines to scale down the current to a safe readable level (e.g., matching a CT ratio like 100/5A or 1000/5A programmed into the meter). 2. Main Distribution Boards & Sub-Panels Compatible Mechanisms: Factory electrical panels, commercial building switchboards, and residential apartment sub-billing racks. Why it’s needed: It allows facility managers to isolate and measure exactly how much energy a specific department, floor, or tenant is drawing from the grid. 3. Heavy Industrial Machinery (Energy Auditing) Compatible Mechanisms: Plastic injection molding machines, CNC machining centers, heavy-duty air compressors, and large baking ovens.
