The Shure ED-670 is a professional desktop gooseneck condenser microphone designed for conferences, public speaking, houses of worship, and corporate meeting rooms. Engineered to deliver clear voice reproduction with minimal ambient background noise, this microphone features a highly sensitive condenser capsule mounted on a flexible neck for optimal positioning. The standalone unit comes with a sturdy, weighted desktop base equipped with a tactile power latch, making it incredibly straightforward to deploy in permanent boardrooms or temporary PA setups. Key Mechanical & Hardware Features Flexible Gooseneck Design: Features a rigid metal stem with flexible joints at the top and base, allowing seamless mechanical adjustment to position the capsule perfectly toward the speaker’s mouth. Weighted Desktop Base: A heavy-duty plastic and metal desktop base ensures the unit remains firmly anchored to flat surfaces, dampening vibrations from nearby typing or desk movements. Push-Button On/Off Switch: Features an integrated mechanical toggle latch on the base to easily mute or unmute the microphone locally during meetings.
