The Q602VL Electronic Water Level Pressure Sensor (frequently cross-referenced with the XQB45 or Q2508PG series) is a precision-engineered induction-type water level switch designed for modern fully automatic top-loading washing machines. Operating on a low-voltage DC frequency signal loop, this sensor monitors water levels via air pressure displacement. As water fills the wash tub, air is forced up through a thin rubber pressure hose into the sensor’s sealed nozzle. This air pressure shifts an internal diaphragm across an induction coil, changing the circuit’s output frequency. Once the electronic control board detects the correct frequency matching your chosen wash setting, it cuts power to the water inlet valve to begin the cycle.
